There is a lot of information out there and often many recommendations from your family and friends, which means it can be overwhelming. What's more, none of it is tailored to your preferences or travel requirements.

 

Here is where I come in. Let a local expert help and take the hassle out of all the research and planning for your travel. I offer first-hand recommendations for where to go, what to do, where to stay, where to eat, and how to get around.

Itinerary Review Service

Have you put together an itinerary for your trip to the Netherlands but feel a little unsure about it? If you’re worried you’ve left out important destinations, hidden highlights, or even the little things that make the memory, my itinerary review service is just what you need!

After contacting me, I will send you a questionnaire. Once I’ve received your itinerary and the completed questionnaire, I’ll contact you to confirm I have received them, possibly ask a few questions, and then send you a credit card payment link. After I’ve received the payment, I will analyze and scrutinize your itinerary. When I’ve completed my review, we’ll set a time for a call, which will last 30 minutes, during which I will go over your itinerary with you. I’ll give you suggestions for changes and alternative options for a logistically sensible itinerary for the time you have, as well as logistically efficient route, featuring the 

best museums, attractions, sites and activities given your interests. I will also give you recommendations for accommodation and where to eat, and advice about transportation.​

Itinerary Planning Service

From spending hours looking for the right schedule to finding the perfect place to stay, planning a vacation is time-consuming and can be overwhelming. My job is to take all of those stressful parts of the planning process out of your hands, allowing you to relax while knowing the very best vacation is being planned just for you.

After contacting me, I will send you a questionnaire. Once I’ve received your completed questionnaire I’ll contact you to confirm I have received it, possibly ask a few questions, and then send you a credit card payment link. After I’ve received the payment, I will start to work on your customized personal travel itinerary.

Depending on the length of your itinerary, it will take between 3 to 10 days before I send you all you need in a neat spreadsheet file.

You can then let me know whether you are happy with your itinerary, or you would like me to make some edits. I’m happy to make one round of revisions to my first deliverable.

I can help with travel planning when:

 

  • You are visiting Amsterdam for a conference, and you will have some hours in between lectures, meetings and the gala dinner to get to know the city and enjoy all it has to offer.

  • You are joining your partner on their business trip, and while they are working, you are interested in traveling and experiencing the Amsterdam.

  • You have booked a multi-generational family vacation in a vacation park in the Netherlands, and are trying to build a plan that will please everyone.

  • You are planning a romantic weekend during which you will pop the question.

  • You will be on a stopover at Schiphol long enough to leave the airport for a few hours, and you want to make the most out of your time.

I will filter the relevant information for you, and make it clear and orderly. I cover museums, attractions, points of interest, guided tours, special places, lesser known sites, festivals, markets, foodie hotspots and more.

  • I can provide you with a travel plan for a few hours, one day or multiple days.

  • The cost of my travel planning service depends on several factors, such as the number of destinations, how big your itinerary is and the diversity of the travelers. Planning for a couples weekend getaway takes less time and effort than for a family with three generations who are on a week's vacation around the Netherlands.

  • Once you send me information about what you are looking for I will send you a customized quote. Please note that I will need payment in advance via credit card before I can begin travel planning for you.

  • To be clear, I do not make bookings on your behalf. I provide you with options, and then you’re free to book those or choose something else.
